New 3D Printable Accessories
Share and 3D Print customer-designed accessories.
It's been really inspiring to see users of modified Pocket cameras designing their own accessories and add-ons. Sun shades, SSD mounts, screen protectors and more are now available for download.
Just download the 3D-printable file, and check your settings match with those in the PDF instructions included. Or, if you don't own or know anyone who owns a 3D printer, just google '3D printers near me'. 3D printing small parts with a company should typically cost less than $20 USD.
I would love to see even more community-designed accessories shared. So if you have created an accessory design, please get in touch! I can't wait to add it to our catalogue.

Mod Kit Install Guide Available
The Install Guide video is now available to follow on YouTube.
Mod Kits are starting to deliver, and the install guide video is now published and available to follow on YouTube. The install guide must be followed with extreme caution to successfully modify your own Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or 6K.
I'd strongly recommend that users watch the install guide video in full before attempting to install the modification, to ensure you're familiar with the process, and feel you can achieve all required steps.
If you do not feel comfortable with any stage of the process, please research Kolari Vision's mod installation service, available here. To watch the Mod Install Guide video, click the link below!

New Mod Install Service
Provided by Kolari Vision, USA
A common request for the Pod Mod Kit has been to provide a Mod Install service, whereby Pocket 4K and 6K owners can send in their camera, to have the Mod professionally installed. So today, I’m really excited to announce a new partnership between Pod Tech and Kolari Vision, to make this service possible. Kolari Vision will also offer pre-modded, brand new Pocket 4K cameras - fully covered by warranty!

Kickstarter Funding Closed
Crowdfunding has closed having reached 700% funding!
It's official - our Kickstarter campaign for the Pod Mod Kit has come to a close having successfully met our funding target. I'd like to extend a huge thanks to you, backer, for your support in backing this project.
We're now moving into the production phase - our manufacturers and suppliers have begun fabrication of the parts and tools for your Mod Kit. You'll receive another update when our manufacturing process is complete, and the parts will then be packaged here in New Zealand before our target shipping date of late February.
We'll also be posting updates on our website, PodTech.shop, as well as our Instagram. Thanks again for your generosity in supporting our journey, backer!

Introducing the Pod Mod Kit
Improve the handling and battery life of the BMPCC 4K/6K
I'm so excited to finally introduce something I've been working on for several months; a modification kit for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K!
The modification is user-installable, following a step-by-step guide, and relocates the camera's 5" touch display into a precision CNC machined aluminium tilting enclosure. This frees up the back of the camera for an integrated V-Lock battery mount, to give the Pocket Cinema Cameras extended battery life without sacrificing access to the touch display.
The Mod Kit is now live on Kickstarter, and you can learn more at www.podtech.shop!
